Why a C flush?
Whatever your diet or lifestyle, we all get exposed to toxins on a daily basis -whether it be heavy metals from inhaling polluted air, body products where a bad ingredient has crept in or a diet that is less than 100% -and don't we all take a day off so to speak and indulge in less that perfect food?!
The Vit C flush is an easy way of getting rid of pathogens, bacteria, parasites, etc- not the only way - but can be done regularly, as in once every 2-3 months.
Do the vitamin C flush on a day when you will be able to take it slow, maybe on a Saturday or a day of rest.
HOW TO
* Start the day by taking 1 t of ascorbic acid (white powder) in 200ml of filtered water on an empty stomach. Do not eat anything until after the cleanse.
* Repeat every 15 minutes until you have had 2 bowel movements.
* Immediately take 2 heaped teaspoons of powdered activated charcoal with 200ml water.
* Bowel movements will continue, and you will be flushing out your system.
* Do not eat for at least 4 hours since taking the first dose.
* Make you first meal something light, like a smoothie or a soup.
* Should you not have a bowel movement after 15 teaspoons, stop for the day and repeat the following day or a week later.
* Make sure you have enough time to rest on the day and the next.
* Your energy will return on the second day and you will feel revived.
